From Paper & Hygiene Products to Chemicals, Equipment & Machinery, and even Machine Rentals and Repairs, we offer a comprehensive range of cleaning products to service all industries and business sizes - plus we stock an economical range right through to the more premium cleaning products as well. The comprehensive range of products includes Bags, Bins, Commercial Cleaning Chemicals, Machines, Cleaning Equipment, Trolleys, Paper Products and Sanitisers for a safe, and hygienic environment. Moreover, we also provide services like machine rentals and repairs.
From humble beginnings
- Operations started in 2007 as a small-scale business supporting direct customers and over time the business has grown to cater to wide variety of customers instore and online.
- Big Clean services customers across a wide variety of industries including Hospitality, Health and Fitness, Schools, Corporate Businesses and the Government Sector at the National level.
Changing the cleaning industry
- In 2016 Big Clean became the first company in Australia to facilitate bulk chemical tank uploads to cruise ships, something it continues to supply to this day.
Championing small business
- Big Clean has been a Major Partner of The Inner West Local Business Awards since 2016 continuing Julie's passion and commitment to championing small business owners in the wider community.
- A Major Partner of the prestigious Australian Small Business Champion Awards since 2020 including the Australian Small Business Champion Awards – Women since 2022, the Australian Small Business Champion Awards – Trade since 2024 and Australian Small Business Champion Awards – Professional Services since 2025.
A smarter digital experience
- Big Clean launched a brand-new website in 2024, giving customers improved advanced features like Wishlist for easier ordering and reordering.
- Introduced Afterpay and Paypal giving customers more flexible ways to shop for their orders.
- Launched improved account customer tools, making it faster and easier to order.
- Strengthened our online product range, giving customers a more complete view of stock and pricing at their fingertips.
Expanding services & partnerships
- Sharpened our focus on services, expanding machine rentals and repairs to support customers who need reliable equipment without the upfront cost of buying.
- Partnered with Actichem, expanding our comprehensive product range to better serve target cleaning groups, including floor care specialists.
- Proud to be named one of the preferred suppliers to the ICC Group.
- Opened a dedicated Big Clean office, expanding capacity for product demonstrations and client meetings — opening up wider opportunities for the Big Clean brand.
Investing in the future of cleaning
- Continuing to grow our own-brand product range, offering customers more choice at competitive prices.
- Increased our offerings of AI and robot-driven cleaning machines, keeping customers ahead of the curve in automation.
- Expanding our product range and reimagining our store layout for better accessibility, including new TV screens and a window display TV.

Meet Julie, Big Clean Owner & Manager
A female business owner whose passion and drive has led to her success. Her vast experience gives her the ability to understand customer issues and provide the right advice and products to solve their problems. With her many years of experience as a businesswoman Julie speaks up on the challenges small businesses and female business leaders face every day through her role as a major partner of local and national small business awards each year.
The rest of the Big Clean team is made up of dedicated staff members in Marketing, Sales, Logistics, Customer Relations and Accounting. A part of our success is due to the remarkable team we have within the business.
Our Products & Services
Our comprehensive range of products includes bags, bins, commercial cleaning chemicals, equipment, machinery, paper products and sanitisers, including a growing range of Big Clean own-brand products and the latest AI and robot-driven cleaning machines. We also provide cleaning machinery rental and repairs.
Our Operations
Our shop front is located in Strathfield South in the Inner West of Sydney where customers can come in store to browse and purchase products and equipment on a regular basis and interact with our knowledgeable staff.
We also launched a new website in 2024, giving customers improved online facilities, including advanced features like Wishlist for account customers, plus services such as Afterpay and Click & Collect.
We can also carry out sales over the phone and by email as needed by our valued customers.
